CrossFit is an incredibly effective method of burning fat and building muscle. It is a core strength and conditioning program. We perform functional movements at high intensity, giving you a comprehensive full-body workout in under an hour. Classes are instructor-led, and peer-driven, providing an excellent mixture of individual coaching and group motivation.

Workouts are constantly varied and unique, which means every workout uses different exercises, universal standards and completion criteria, ensuring that you always make progress and never get bored. Some exercises will be familiar and many will be new, you will always be challenged to achieve elite fitness. Anyone can excel at CrossFit, and everyone who is committed will. It will change your life and how you view health and fitness. You will never be expected to lift weights beyond your fitness level or perform movements beyond your skill set. However, you will always be Coached, encouraged and challenged to improve your performance and test your skill set.

At Elevated CrossFit you will succeed. Results are not guaranteed, they’re earned. CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police academies and tactical operations teams, military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Elevated CrossFit coaches place safety and developing proper movement patterns as their highest priority. Each class has a mobilization piece that will help you get into a better (i.e. safer, stronger, more efficient) position. Technique always comes before intensity. We believe that position is power, not only for the 50 minutes that you are in class, but also for the other 23 hours and ten minutes that you are not in class.

The CrossFit program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs.

The needs of Olympic athletes and our grandparents differ by degree not kind. Hunters, skiers, mountain bike riders and housewives have found their best fitness from the same regimen. The best results come when training includes functional movements (that which replicates real life movement), at high intensity and with constant variety. Any exercise program that meets these three criteria can be considered “CrossFit,” from shoveling dirt, hauling rocks and cutting down trees to weightlifting, pull ups and sprinting.
CrossFit is a fitness and conditioning system developed by Coach Greg Glassman through many years of watching, working with, and coaching all types of people – from those considered “normal and average”, to top athletes. Coach Glassman’s idea – take what worked best from the sports and movements that create the most versatile athletes (gymnastics and weightlifting), and throw the rest out. Actually, the system really created itself – if a workout or an exercise proved functional and got great results. CrossFit is – bar none, the most effective fitness and conditioning system in the world!

CrossFit has been called “The Sport of Fitness” because it re-introduces personal athletic achievement and performance to training. The mindset at the start of each workout is to be stronger, move faster, more efficiently, with better form than ever. This is why even after years of training CrossFit style, scores and times in workouts continue to drop and athletes continue to improve. It’s hard, fun, exciting, challenging, and will push you to be your absolute best!
